Cuts steel wire rope up to 5/32 in. (4mm); stainless steel wire rope and mild steel rod up to 1/8 in. (3.2mm); hardened spring/music wire up to 3/32 in. (2.4mm).

• A special M2 steel insert in blades.
• Blades are hot drop-forged of molybdenum alloy steel and austemper heat-treated for exceptional strength and durability.
• A grade-8 center pivot bolt threaded into bottom blade to keep blades in adjustment and hold readjustment.
• A heavy duty double overwind designed spring which is guaranteed forever.
• A thumb or finger actuated safety latch to keep blades closed when not in use.
• Compound leverage handle action which minimizes hand pressure required to complete cut.
• One-half hardened steel handles that can not be bent or collapsed from hand pressure.
