Ordering: We want your shopping experience at Bob's Tools to be a pleasant one.  You may order in one of four ways:

Payment Method: We have made nearly every option available to you.

Shipping & Handling Charges: The shipping charges below apply to and will be added to every order *unless otherwise indicated.

*These prices are for delivery in the Continental United States. For shipping rates outside of the Continental United States please call 1-515-287-7542 or E-mail us.

*If a lift truck is needed for delivery, there will be an additional charge. Please call us at 1-888-845-7500 to find the exact charges.

*We can NOT ship to a PO BOX, we can only ship to a physical address.

*Nails and Staples are all F.O.B. Call or E-mail us to find out the exact charges.

*Some items include shipping charges and some items are Free Freight.   This is indicated on the individual product page when applicable.

Sales Tax: 6% sales tax will be added to all orders from Iowa residents.

Availability: Our online catalog has over 1,700 tools for you to chose from. We Stock over 10,000 tools, so don't hesitate to E-mail us or phone us at 1-888-845-7500 to check availability of a tool not listed...chances are we have it!

Warranties: All tools carry the manufacturers' warranty. For more information on a specific item, E-mail us or phone us at 1-888-845-7500.

Returns: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase upon arrival, you may return it for a full refund. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Freight Claims: All freight claims must be filed with the freight line. Please inspect your merchandise in the presence of the shipper as any shipping damage must be reported to them at the time of receipt. Bob's Tools is not responsible for shipping damage.

Using The Online Catalog

There are two catalog directory pages: one by Manufacturers;
one by Type of Tool. Each of these displays a list of links to the various manufacturers. On each manufacturers' page, you will find a list of links to each individual tool. By clicking on the link to a particular tool, you will be shown pictures, descriptions and specifications for that tool. Each tool's page allows you the option of adding it to your shopping cart. We have also allowed that you might need more than one of a particular item, so you may indicate the quantity you want to add once you have arrived at "Your Shopping Cart" page.

Once at the checkout page, you have the option to:
1. Submit your order online for immediate secure processing
2. Print and fax your order
3. Print and mail your order
4. Phone your order using our toll free order line.

Upon receipt of your order, Bob's Tools will confirm your order by e-mail within 2 business days. We make every effort to ship your order promptly. In the event of a back order or shipping delay, you will be notified immediately.

Tool Search: Our tool search is the fastest way to find a specific tool. You will the tool search feature towards the top of most pages on our web site. Here are some tips to help make your search successful:

Security & Privacy: We have taken every step available to insure you a secure online shopping experience. When you submit your order it is sent through a secure server (all information is encrypted).  Notification of your order is then forwarded to us via e-mail. Once we receive notification of your order, we log-on to the secure server to retrieve your credit card information.
Credit Card information is NEVER SENT VIA E-MAIL.
Your personal information is NEVER SHARED or sold to any other companies or individuals.
